If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal data, you can contact us at contact@adonis-trade.com.

What Personal Data We Collect

We only collect personal data that you provide to us directly, or that is generated automatically through your use of this website.

Contact form. When you submit our Contact Us form, we collect the name, email address, phone number (if provided), and message content you enter. This information is emailed to our team and stored in our website’s database so we can respond to your inquiry.

Newsletter sign-up. When you subscribe via the “Subscribe Now” form in our website footer, we collect your email address. This is stored in our website’s database and a notification is sent to our internal team. We do not currently use a separate third-party email marketing platform — your email address is not shared with any external mailing list service.

Orders and shop accounts. If you place an order through our shop, we collect the information necessary to process it — such as your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and details of the products ordered. Guest checkout is available, so you are not required to create an account to place an order. We do not currently have an automatic data-deletion schedule in place for order and account information, so it is retained until you request its removal (see “Your Rights” below).

Payment information. At the time of writing, our checkout does not have a payment processor actively configured, so no card or bank payment data is currently collected or processed through this website. If we enable a payment processor (such as a card or PayPal gateway) in the future, we will update this policy to name the provider and explain how it handles your payment details. In that case, the payment provider would process your payment information directly, and we would not store your full payment card details on our own servers.

Comments. If comments are enabled on a page or post and you choose to leave one, we collect the name, email address, and website (if provided) you enter, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help identify and prevent spam. If you have a Gravatar linked to your email address, your profile picture may become publicly visible next to your approved comment.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider’s servers automatically log standard technical information for every visitor, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, for security and operational purposes.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies:

  • Shopping cart and checkout cookies — used to remember the contents of your cart and to process your order.
  • Comment cookies — if you leave a comment, you may opt in to a cookie that remembers your name, email, and website so you don’t have to re-enter them next time.
  • Caching cookies — our website uses a caching plugin to improve loading speed, which may set a technical cookie unrelated to tracking or advertising.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party advertising or analytics tracking cookies on this website.

Third Parties We Work With

  • Akismet (Automattic Inc.) — we use Akismet to automatically filter spam from comment submissions. If you leave a comment, certain data (such as your IP address and comment content) may be checked against Akismet’s spam-detection database. See Automattic’s privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy.
  • Hostinger — our website is hosted by Hostinger, which processes technical and server data (such as server logs) as part of providing our hosting infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Order, account, and form-submission data is not currently subject to an automatic deletion schedule, so it is retained until you request its removal.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@adonis-trade.com.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

German-Language Data Protection Declaration

A German-language data protection declaration (“Datenschutzerklarung”) is also available: download the PDF.
